1. I have never had a maid service before. How does it work?
 
Just call our office. We will create your client profile by asking you some simple questions – including the type of service you desire. We will provide you a cost estimate based on the information you provide and book you an appointment at the time and date of your choosing (pending availability).
 
On your cleaning appointment date, a Diamond Shine clean team of one, two or three cleaning professionals will arrive at your home or office. If you prefer to be onsite when we arrive, you can let us in. Otherwise, we can work to the entry details (most clients provide us with keys). Clients who use a security alarm typically assign us our unique security code. For apartment and condominium complexes, we generally register at the front desk and sign out a key. We provide our own supplies and equipment, and will follow any instructions you may have provided when you contacted our office.

Our policy is payment due at the time of service. We accept cash, personal check, Visa, master card, Discover, Union pay and American Express.  We require a credit card on file. If credit card not on file please call in advance to submit payment before the day team arrive. Once the team has finished cleaning, we will process your payment. After your cleaning, we will contact you to verify that you were pleased with our service.    
 
2.What is the price for a cleaning? 
 
It is very difficult to provide a price because every customer has different cleaning needs.   It is important that a representative visit your home or office to provide a free, no obligation–in-home /office estimate.
 
What happens at the – in home estimate?
 
A Diamond Shine professional will spend time with you in your home/office. We will visit each room that needs to be cleaned. Your specific needs will be detailed with attention paid to any (areas of concern) that you may have.
An end of the estimate, we will provide you with a price based on the information you have provided. This is a total price for the job we will carry out – there are no hidden charges!
All of the information will be in writing, and you will be given a copy of the written Estimate of Service.
 
4. How longwill the Estimate take?
 
We appreciate your time during the in-house/office estimate and not to take too much of your time during the process. An average home/office visit to do an estimate usually lasts about 20-30 minutes. However, this can vary depending on the size and type of your property.
 
5. How do you determine the price?
 
We take a number of factors into consideration to determine the price. For example what is the size of the property, what is the amount of require cleaning. We bring all of the Diamond Shine experience to the process of determining the cost of any cleaning. Our focus is always on offering you value for your money while ensuring that our Home Cleaning Professionals carry out the cleaning to your full satisfaction.
 
6. How much time will you need to need to clean my home?
 
The time our professional cleaners need to clean your home/office will depend on what type of service you require, our regular clean will take less time than our deep cleaning.
 
Regular Clean: The time it takes to do a regular clean various on the condition of the house/office. Diamond Shine would charge an initial clean price to allow our staff to bring the property up to standard. We would then offer a regular clean price to maintain the clean depending on the frequency (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly).
 
Deep Clean: Performing a deep clean can be time consuming, as this type of clean is usually required if the home/office has not been cleaned for long period of time. Example: Spring Cleaning, move- in/move - out clean may fall into the deep clean category.
 
7. What kind of products do you use?
 
We use only the best Green Seal-certified, products from a variety of manufacturers. Our products are environmentally friendly, non-toxic, non-abrasive, and non-allergenic.  Our goal is to help area families and businesses significantly improve their indoor air quality, while maintaining eco-consciousness. 
 
  
8. Do I have to provide you with cleaning supplies?
 
Diamond Shine provides all supplies and equipment, unless you prefer that our house cleaning team use yours. If there are any special instructions, please call the office and we’ll be certain that your customer information sheet is updated accordingly.
 
9. How will I know I can trust your house cleaning teams to come into my home?
 
All our house cleaning teams are REQUIRED to pass a 20 year background check prior hired by Diamond Shine LLC. Additionally, our house cleaning teams are fully trained and experienced, and Diamond Shine LLC is bonded and insured. For security, only our team leaders carry your key, and the keys are stored in a doubly-locked box at our offices. For added security, keys are coded individually and cross-referenced separately.
 
10. How does the house cleaning team know what needs to be done?
 
Every client’s needs are different, so your house cleaning team will work from the list you provided to our office. Our preference is that you call our office when you have specific needs, that way the teams will know in advance how to best service your home. If additional notes are left for the team, they will be brought back to the office to be added to your customer information sheet.
 
11. What if something is damaged when my home is cleaned?
 
We carry liability insurance. In the unlikely event that something should become damaged or broken while we are cleaning your home, we will make every effort to have the item repaired, or replaced if it cannot be repaired. Insurance claims will be filed when appropriate. We treat every home with considerable care to ensure that accidents do not occur.
 
12. What should I do with my pet while you are cleaning?
 
Nothing. Our cleaning team work safety around house pets and all our cleaning solutions are non-toxic and harmless. If there are any specific instructions regarding your pet, please contact us

13. What time will you arrive?
 
We clean from 8:00 a.m until 5:00 p.m and after hours for special request. We will arrive fifteen to thirty minutes before your appointment time.   
 
 
 
 
14. Do you use HEPA filters on your vacuum cleaners?
 
Yes, our vacuum cleaners contain HEPA filters.
 
15. Are you licensed, bonded and insured?
 
Yes, we fully licensed, State certified, bonded, and insured in the state of Alabama.
 
16. What if I’m not satisfied with a cleaning?
 
At Diamond Shine we have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your cleaning for any reason, contact us within 72 hours of service, we will return the next day at our expense to meet with you, receive your instructions, and correct the problem. If you are still not satisfied with our service, we will write you a credit to your account for the total cleaning bill. That’s how confident we are that you will love our cleaning.
